A MUST Watch TV Show - Gossip Girl

Based on the book of the same title, Gossip Girl (written by Cecily von Ziegesar) takes viewers inside the exclusive world of the privileged teenagers at an elite New York City private school. Each episode is told through the eyes of an anonymous blogger as the best gossip and deepest secrets are dished and revealed.

Gossip Girl revolves around the lives of socialite young adults growing up on New York's Upper East Side who attend elite academic institutions whilst dealing with sex, drugs, and other teenage issues. Featuring an ensemble cast, the series mainly centers around the lives of former best friends, Serena van der Woodsen (Blake Lively) and Blair Waldorf (Leighton Meester), and their shared romantic interest, Nate Archibald (Chace Crawford). As outsiders looking in, Dan (Penn Badgley) and Jenny Humphrey (Taylor Momsen) do not run in the same social or financial circles as their peers but are drawn into their lives nonetheless. The series is narrated by a seemingly omniscient character, "Gossip Girl" voiced by Kristen Bell (Veronica Mars), who runs a blog about her fellow Upper East Siders -- consequently stirring the pot and creating potential rivalries in this exclusive and vicious circle of friends.

The show is created by Josh Schwartz, the creator of The O.C., and Stephanie Savage, who also serve as executive producers alongside Bob Levy, Leslie Morgenstein and Felicia D. Henderson. It is produced by CBS Paramount Network Television, Warner Bros. Television, College Hill Productions and Alloy Entertainment.
