Create Your Own Ringtone

Get your phone ringing your original tune!

You will need:

  • Mobile phone with MP3 ringtone support


  • Your favourite MP3s


  • Any method of transferring the ring tone from PC to phone. (USB, Bluetooth, Infrared, etc)


  • Audio editing software (Sound Forge Free Trial Download or Audacity)

Instructions:

  • Pick the song of your choice.


  • Make a copy of the music file before you start so you won't affect the original version.


  • Using your audio editing software, determine a small section of the song you want to use as your ring tone.


  • Save the section you want in a MP3 format and transfer the file to your phone!

Alternative:

  • Check this out: Mobile 17^^ - You can also make your ringtones via website for free. The quality may not be as good as using audio editing software but if you aren't too fussy, you can give it a go too!
